It is sad but true. Most people who enter this industry do so because of the wrong reasons. We all aspire to what the industry can bring, yet it is rarely achieved.

I should know...

After 5 years and opportunity after opportunity and thousands of dollars down the drain, I had nothing to show for it. I mean, I did everything I was told. Buy more leads, make more calls and do more follow up.

Frustrated, I would move to another company and buy into a 'website tool' believing that it was the company’s fault for my failures.

Guess what?

I was met with the same fate I had in my previous opportunity. I still had to tell more people and do more follow up. I had to literally beg the prospects to join my business.

Yet despite all I had gone through, I was no closer to achieving success in my sponsoring. I was not prepared to give it all up. I knew there was a better way.

The fact is what the MLM industry preaches is exactly what led me to my demise in this industry.

I mean, although I had taken it for granted, I just could not accept that this was the status quo in network marketing. I knew deep down that there had to be a better way.

I read so many books. I listened to so many audios. I spent thousands of dollars attending seminars. But nothing changed. So, I changed my approach.

And you know what?

As stupid as it sounds, I stopped doing network marketing like every body else.

So, you are probably wondering what happened?

Did I sign up for the latest lead source generation?

Nope.

Did I sign up for the latest 'ground breaking' business opportunity?

Absolutely not!

What I learned is that having the best product, company, and compensation plan are all completely worthless unless you know how to attract people to you and how to obtain the long term commitment from them.

Look, I could not stand calling worthless opportunity leads or continue chasing the prospects any more. First, I could not afford it and when I discovered a better way to do this business, I could not go back.


Take note here...

I found a compelling way to have prospects hunt me down instead of me chasing them.

I found a way to have prospects ask me to join my business instead of me chasing after them like a peddler.

And for the ultimate, I found a way how to obtain the long term commitment from them.

This may sound impossible to you, but let me ask you this question:

Now, there is something that I would like to share with you right now that changed my life and my career in network marketing forever.

It all started with an encounter with a beggar man that came to me in the form of an enlightenment …

…He was standing by the subway begging for money. Like everybody else, I ignored him. A few weeks later, I happened to see him again, only this time, he looked different. I noticed that he had a tear in his eye and his attitude changed.

Now, I usually didn’t approach beggars, but for some reason, I was mysteriously drawn to him.  I approached him and asked why he had tears in his eyes.

"Those are not tears in my eyes my friend’, he replied. He went on saying…

When you want something so badly that you are willing to do anything to get it, you must believe in it and not give up. You must be prepared to sacrifice all you got to get what you want.

I do not like coming here begging for money, but I have a vision of myself where I would like to be in a few years time. I have this burning desire for what I want in life and I believe in it.

My friend, those tears you see is my desire to get five lousy dollars for my family’s dinner, and it is the belief in my vision that drives me to beg for money.”

This man spoke with great intellectual ability that he left me speechless. Never in my life did I feel so much energy from a human being. A beggar man.

I reached into my pocket and took out a twenty dollar bill…

"I don’t want your money sir!" he said.

"Money is not what will give you what you want in life. It will be the desire that will give all you want… desire to attain that vision of yours and belief in yourself…"

In three words, this beggar man changed my life.

Vision. Desire. Belief.

I know, the experience with the beggar man had a profound impact on my life that it changed my whole outlook on the network marketing industry. In fact, I took a six month exodus from the industry because I could not continue building my business with the status quo.
